They are made from thicker material than the standard race issue hoods for greater long-term durability, yet average weight savings is 8 pounds over an OEM hood.
Fully Trimmed Hoods (Part Numbers Beginning with 455-)
A Fully Trimmed Hood will come with all the Vents, Air Intakes, Gauge Openings, and Hood Base Routered similar to the Stock Hood. It also comes with a Hood Hinge Kit and a Headlight Hardware Kit.
Base Trimmed Hoods (Part Numbers Beginning with 456-)
Base Trimmed hoods have the base of the hood trimmed but they do not have the Vents, Air Intakes, or Gauge Openings routered out, thereby allowing you to modify it to suit your needs. It also comes with a Hood Hinge Kit but not a Headlight Hardware Kit.
