Refused Shipments
If you refuse or cancel a shipment after it leaves our dock, you will be expected to pay freight both ways and will be charged a restocking fee of 20%. Your account will be placed on hold until this matter is resolved.

Back Orders

We do not back order as a rule, unless specifically requested. Please reorder out of stock items.

Returns

You MUST obtain authorization from the Sales Department for a returned item. There will be a 20% restocking fee on returned goods that were not the result of warranty or an error on our part. A copy of the original invoice is required for all returns. Returns will not be accepted on Carbs, Carb parts, electrical, ignition components, special order or special discount items. All parts must be returned within 30 days of invoice date. -No Exceptions-

Electrical Parts

Absolutely no returns on electrical parts! Recreational Engineering has no warranty of any kind on new or used electrical parts, since improper installation or replacement without first testing the rest of the ignition system may damage the new part.

Damaged Goods

Inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival in front of the carrier. If damage or loss is discovered, have the carrier make note of this on the delivery register. Then file a claim with the delivery agent at once. Always retain the shipping carton and packing for carrier agents inspection.

Warning

Your signature on the bill constitutes acceptance of goods waiving any responsibility of the carrier with the possible exception of concealed damage in some cases.

Warranty

Recreational Engineering has no warranty of any kind either expressed or implied. Most manufacturers have their own warranty, and the customers sole remedy is specifically limited to the warranties, if any, granted by the manufacturer of the product. Please file claim with them. In no event shall Recreational Engineering be liable for any incidental or consequential damages as a result of defects in material or workmanship in the product it sells.
